Acetone is primarily used for cleaning equipment and surfaces but can also be used to dissolve two-part epoxies and glues if necessary. Acetone can be used to clean a surface prior to starting work and can be used to clean up tools and work areas after projects are complete.
When using Acetone to prepare a surface for fibreglassing, a clean cloth must be used so that contaminants are not being transferred to the working area.
